Searching for an older driver, I got to a reddit response of a guy who posted USB driver version 4.65.5.658 (standalone drivers, no mixcontrol). Unstalled the Focusrite public drivers, installed those, and everything worked ok: Windows detected the device as only one device, not two. ASIO mode worked perfectly.
